Winckids is excited to announce that we will be hosting “Kids’ Got Talent.” This is a Talent and Art Show which will be held on Sunday, March 24th at 6:00 PM for the children who regularly attend Wincog and Royal Oak churches.
This year’s offering will go to benefit our Hope Again Care Center.
Rules and Details
Each performance will be limited to 2 minutes. No exceptions.
All Children MUST attend the MANDATORY PREVIEW and DRESS REHEARSAL. Children should bring everything they need for their performance to the dress rehearsal prior to the talent show.
The preview will be held on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Once you register, we will send you a 1 hour preview time frame for you to attend on Sunday. The preview is a way for us to get an idea of what are doing and make sure everything is church appropriate. Your child is not expected to have their performance mastered by the preview date.
The dress rehearsal will be held on Saturday, March 16th from 10:00AM-12:00PM.
If you are unable to attend both of these events, we ask that you do not register for the talent show.
Please note that your performance music, will need to be found on YouTube. When you register, be prepared to provide the name of the artist, the link and the duration, exactly where your music will start and end based on the minutes located in the lower right hand corner of the video.
Most performances will have a music component, unless you are public speaking.
One parent/guardian must remain with the child during both the preview and the entire dress rehearsal.
Children who do not attend the dress rehearsal or do not have everything they need for the performance, i.e. costumes, music, instruments, etc. on dress rehearsal day will not be able to perform at the talent show. If your child is performing in a group, each member must be register separately.
Please complete the online registration form found at wincog.com/events.
Online registration gives your child permission to perform in Kids’ Got Talent.
If you do not have access to a computer, hard copies of the registration form are located on the table downstairs outside of the Kids’ Church room. Please turn these in at the main office. (Place in Brianne’s mailbox.)
NO LATE FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Any questions, contact Brianne Brown, Winckids’ Administrative Assistant, at 540-667-8017 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
